process notes from a medical intuitive
Here's an irony I've observed about something that happens with healing processes involving inquiry/attention-to/interpretation of bodies, particularly their symptoms. I appreciate that it's in the spirit of honoring that we are a whole interconnected system. I appreciate seeking to understand something about what the body's saying. The irony - there's so often a preloaded assumption the body's carrying something from some other non-physical part of the self, and the tone is, so often, that that non-physical self is way more interesting than the body itself.
My question is - when does the body get to just be physical? Do you ever hear it say - I wish you'd leave me alone. Have a nice time with your thoughts and feelings and spiritual shit, I'm working on something here.
