rapid fire notes on maturity
Maturity does not doubt itself. Maturity knows it is exactly what it is. It is itself. So if you’re not sure if you’re mature, it’s because the maturity isn’t all the way there yet.
Maturity is sometimes overrated. Or at least, thinking it should be there when it just isn’t. Maturity, or the becoming of it when it’s come enough on the scene and has started picking up momentum, just keeps going until it’s there. This is deeply trustworthy.
Maturity knows when it’s reached the outer limits of what it knows which isn’t the same as doubt.
It also knows whether expanding into more knowledge is the move.
Maturity does not give a fuck about making mistakes.
Maturity of course tends to them. But not making mistakes is not a value it holds. It would way rather go for it.
