It’s been quieter on the writing front lately. Sharing a few shorter posts of late from Instagram with you. __________________ It’s been oh so quiet on the having big thoughts front lately. I’m so glad to hit these stretches of time and want them to last for awhile. Big thoughts always come back around, because it’s my nature, and maybe even more, the world is not even remotely a place that can just be left alone. It’s going to need colossal amounts of guidance from big thoughts for some unclear amount of time to come. What I get in touch with in these brief breaks, at least in this one, is imagining what it would be like to be in a world that doesn’t require so much guidance. If it was like a high-functioning family/team/group/collective where you get to just show up and have a really good time. (No duh, I know we all want this.) And what I’d like to show up with instead of all the big thoughts is whimsy, creativity. Not to diminish the impact of whimsy and creativity. But fuck if it ain’t lighter and more fun.
